Under the Workers’ Compensation & Injury Management Act (WCIM Act) you are entitled to receive statutory compensation from your employer if you are injured at work. You will receive weekly statutory compensation payments according to the severity of your injuries, and you may be awarded an additional amount if you are permanently or temporarily unable to work.
